During the Covid pandemic many individuals supported their local communities through various outreach activities like the daily distribution of ration packets and cooked meals, sanitization programs and medical camps. We felicitated 22 such Covid warriors from my constituency, people who had selflessly contributed to helping the needy at the hands of Hon. Governor Shri Bhagatsingh Koshiyari in a very special program at Raj Bhavan. Leader of the opposition in Vidhan Parishad, Shri Pravin Darekar ji was the Guest of Honour.
कोविड महामारीच्या कठीण समयी अनेक सेवाभावी आणि दानशूर व्यक्तींनी रेशन पॅकेट्स आणि शिजवलेले जेवणाचे वितरण, स्वच्छताविषयक कार्यक्रम आणि वैद्यकीय शिबिरांचे आयोजन यासारख्या विविध उपक्रमांतून आपल्या इतर गरजू बांधवांची नि:स्वार्थपणे सेवा केली. आज राजभवनात एका विशेष कार्यक्रमात माझ्या मतदारसंघातील अशा 22 कोविड योद्ध्यांचा, आम्ही राज्यपाल श्री.भगतसिंग कोशियरी यांच्या हस्ते सत्कार केला. विधान परिषदेचे विरोधी पक्षनेते श्री प्रवीण दरेकर जी सन्माननीय अतिथी म्हणून उपस्थित होते.
