1. Accompanied Shri Mansukh Mandviya, Minister of State for Shipping (IC) in inaugurating the following projects: Construction of Flyover at Y junction at JNPT, Centralized Parking Plaza, Scanning X Rays, Augmentation of 220/33 KV Master Unit sub station & Shiv Samarth Smarak Museum.
2. As a Member of the Consultative Committee for Shipping, I was present in a meeting for decongesting areas in around Thane, which directly affects Mulund & NE Mumbai. It was presided over by Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Shipping (IC) and Vinay Sahasrabudhe, MP. To reduce heavy container traffic in city areas and explore traffic movement by waterways, alternatives like new cargo terminals at Vasai and Navi Mumbai and water travel from Mumbai - Airoli - Thane - Vasai were discussed.
